What's in a name? That's the question we asked ourselves while debating how to convey our core values. We needed a catchy phrase to describe a youth-run current affairs website that advocates social, economic, and environmental justice.

With all the talk in the media about "entitlements" - from The Globe and Mail's call for Quebec students and Greek protestors to break their "entitlement addiction," to Mitt Romney's recent shot at voters "who believe they're entitled to health care, to food, to housing, you name it" - it's worth reviewing what the word actually means.
